Cover small incidents of guest damage quickly and easily with Crewdogs damage
protection.
No more damage deposits for short-term stays: protection you need, for a price that makes sense
We are a professional community, and believe in owning mistakes. That’s why we
encourage every host to seek damage reimbursement from guests when damages are discovered. However,
when disputes occur - our damage protection can be used to cover costs.
How damage protection works
Our short-term rental damage plan will protect you while eliminating the
requirement to collect and refund security deposits.
Your guest will pay a non-refundable fee of $1 per day, no less than $10 that is added to the total
price during booking. This is intended for any minor damage caused during their stay at your rental
property. Then, Crewdogs will reimburse you up to $1,000 in damages if disputes occur.
Exception:
for official government travel stays, this amount is removed prior to your
payout
It’s quick, it’s reliable, and we don’t outsource the reimbursement process.
Our damage protection plan:
Encourages greater community – talk with your guest first, but know you’re covered
Removes disputes with guests and bad reviews
Is discounted to provide affordable protection to guests and hosts
Is less hassle than a traditional security deposit
Is streamlined for an effortless process from damage declaration reimbursement
