Bookings

Bookings can be viewed via your messenger page for both the mobile app and website. To review and accept this request, simply click on the details - which will automatically appear if pending. Once you have reviewed all of the information, you will be able to confirm the booking by pressing the button that says "Confirm". When you confirm a booking, Crewdogs will automatically send an email to both Host and Guest, charge the Guest credit card, and provide updates if there are any issues.

You will not be financially penalized for declining a stay. We do ask you follow up with the guest and provide a reason for the declination. This helps strengthen our community and provide transparency. There could also be adverse effects in your listing order if stays are declined on a constant basis.

Absolutely. We encourage hosts and guests to get to know each other before a stay is confirmed. Crewdogs is about the trust and bond of military service, so use the messenger as a tool to connect. We have tied the trip details page to your messenger page in both the web version and the mobile app to allow for this.

No, we do not allow instant booking at this time on Crewdogs. All stay requests must be accepted the the website or mobile app.

Both hosts or guests can request to modify the booking through the Crewdogs support chat. If the receiving party for the change agrees, the dates will be updated and any additional charges required will be applied. Rates may change based on the change in dates, and the host always reserves the right to decline the modification after both sides have confimed a stay.

You will be able to email or call the guest directly as you will be provieded their direct contact information. If you have any further problems reaching your guest, please contact us throught the Crewdogs support chat or via phone.

If a guest has inquired with you or has stayed with you in the past, you are able to send an offer to book. This is performed through your message page. After your offer is sent, the guest can choose to accept or decline. If no action has been taken by the guest, the offer expires after 24 horus. Of note, your calendar is blocked during this 24 hour period.
