Payouts and Taxes

Crewdogs releases payment for a confirmed booking request on the day of check-in. For stays over 30 days, Crewdogs releases payment after each 30 day period until the expiration of the stay. Please note that this may take 2-3 business days to appear in your account.

We don't believe in listing fees. If you are charging for a stay, we provide the option of 2% charge per booking, or a $49/$99 (military/non-military hosts) charged after your first payout. Free stays and long-term stays greater than 6 months are not charged to guests. Hosts will be charged a 2% or $49/$99 charge for Government travel and long-term stays plus payment processing charges. Guests are charged a flat 10% for each stay (not excluding Government Travel or Long-term stays).

When you enter your payout information into your dashboard, accept the terms and conditions and click Save, those details are saved directly into our payment service providers, where the details are encrypted and securely stored. See more details about Stripe here.

Crewdogs does not remit taxes on behalf of hosts. While we calculate and provide tax % categories for hosts, it is ultimately the responsibility of the host to ensure their correct tax percentage is applied and then submit them to the proper tax authorities at the end of each tax year. Crewdogs is not responsible for confirming the correct tax percentage as required by each country, state, or county, and is not responsible for paying host’s taxes on their behalf. A payment history can be requested from Crewdogs when hosts are filing taxes and need to see how much they received in taxes for the previous year’s bookings.

Log into your account, and navigate to your Profile. Select your Payment and Payouts. Select Transaction History. Here you can see the list of all previous transactions sent to you.
